It seems that there are quite a few Irish tunes in the Northumbrian smallpi= pe repertoire, and I'm wondering what the general feeling is about Irish tu= nes that have come in, and continue to come into the repertoire. They seem= to undergo an Northumbrianization and for the most fall into the jig and h= ornpipe categories. =20
