   According to Fred. But then there are others who said that Billy
   would hide in the woods when he knew Fred was coming (this has been
   said of several of Billy's potential visitors). The stories about
   Billy vary according to who was speaking - the truth, if there is
   such a thing, will probably never be known. But they're good stories.
