Willie Taylor bought his from Gillian Birnies' (nee Yellop) father who supplied us all with East German steel strings at -L-3:50 per set. This at a time when Dogals were -L-7:00 and Thomastik steel core were -L-10:50. Even Dominants were about -L-20 is those days. No wonder they didn't take kindly to being tuned down! Cheers Anthony
