Salisbury Pipers are holding their fifth annual Piping Day on Saturday
May 15th. The venue is, as usual, Idmiston Memorial Hall in Porton
Village, 6m north of Salisbury, Wilts, just off the A338 (near the
Aquatic/Garden Centre). The day of informal piping lasts from 10am-5pm
and this year will include an optional workshop, led by Eric Franklin,
on pipes maintenance. It's great fun - why not come along? Lunch
is 'bring and share' buffet (or adjourn to the nearby Porton Hotel).
Cost depends on the number of participants but is likely to be -L-2-3
towards the hire of the hall. It's helpful to bring along the usual NPS
tunebooks and folios, and a music stand.

Salisbury Piping Day is held in memory of Jim Bryan, NPS President
2006-2009.Further details: contact Ian Curr off list
