Hi all, a new engagement, as part of my profession, will take me away from home for an extended period of time (at least three years), in a place, the United Arabian Emirates, where (you can easily imagine), itll be impossible for me to play the pipes; so I decided not to put them under a vacuum bell jar waiting for me to be back but sell them and allow someone else to play.
It is a set of pipes in F made by David G. Burleigh, with four complicated drones and two chanters: 7 keys (numbered: 4762) and 17 keys (numbered: 2953). The set is fully cane-reeded (the chanters and the drones), and comes with two chanter stocks (to easily interchange them) and its original case. There is also a spare chanter reed. The pipes are in good condition (see attached pics) The pipes were always been played (last time this afternoon). I was thinking in terms of about £1,600 (negotiable) for the entire set. I can sell separately one of the chanters (7 or 17), if someone interested, but I also want to sell a full set (7 or 17 keys) I can ship them anywhere in the world at no charge for the buyer. If anyone would like more details, please contact me offlist. Thank you, Valerio Pelliccioni -- To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
