I acquired a set of Northumbrian pipes from my Uilleann pipe tutor several
years ago.

It has a boxwood stock with four drones also of boxwood with tuneable beads
with a blackwood nine key chanter.

The stock has a makers stamp which is heart shaped with an oblique line
descending from left to right through the heart.

I was told that the maker was a chap called Mick Wilkins who was Bradford based
but I've drawn a blank when trying to find out more about him.

I also want to have the pipes renovated to make them playable are there any
renovators near Leeds, UK?

Thanks in anticipation.
