I've just taken delivery of this chanter, and since there was some interest
a few weeks ago in the actual tuning versus that described in the auction, I
thought I'd pass along the following information.

It is indeed a D chanter, made by Colin Ross, with reeds dated December
2010. Per my meter, the tuning is as follows (keys in CAPS):

     A B C# d e f# g G# a Bb b C c# d E F# G A

Which when transposed to an F chanter would be:

     D E F# g a b c C# d D# e F f# g A B C D

Cheers,
Mark

Subject: [NSP] D chanter on AU ebay

Curious about the keys on this chanter.
Chanter Keys (10 - A, B, C, d, e, f, g, G#, a, A#, b, c, Cnat, d, E, F, G,
A)
If transposed to an F chanter that would be D E F# g a b c C# d D# e
f# Fnat g A B C D. That is an unusual selection isn't it?

Thanks for posting, Julia, but I don't think I'll be bidding on it.
