The bug you're encountering is already fixed in sbackup 0.11.4. Try to
install it from our PPA https://edge.launchpad.net/~nssbackup-
team/+archive/ppa.

The original bug report was:
LP: #588578 Email notification/reporting doesn't work with GMAIL:
test against string '1' rather number 1 when checking whether to use TLS

In order to fix this problem in Ubuntu 10.10 it is necessary to port
this patch to sbackup 0.11.3 which is included in the Ubuntu
repositories. Help is appreciated. Thanks.
