Question #184762 on sbackup changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sbackup/+question/184762
Description changed to: I´m running sbackup in ¨Administrator¨ mode and creating a new default profile that contains a single directory, which is also a samba share. When I trigger a full backup (both from gui and command line), the resulting backup directory contains an empty tar file. This is in Ubuntu 11.10 (64-bit) with sbackup 0.11.4. Relevant portion of log file is below - any suggestions on why this is happening? 2012-01-15 13:04:07,624 - INFO: Log output for [Default Profile] is directed to file '/var/log/sbackup/sbackup.2012-01-15_13.04.07.623206.log'. 2012-01-15 13:04:07,624 - INFO: Profile settings are being read from file '/etc/sbackup.conf'. 2012-01-15 13:04:07,629 - INFO: Preparation of backup process 2012-01-15 13:04:07,629 - INFO: Initializing GIO File Access Manager. 2012-01-15 13:04:07,638 - INFO: Backup destination: /media/NAS_Backup/Big-Rig_failsafe 2012-01-15 13:04:07,639 - INFO: Perform tests at specified location 2012-01-15 13:04:07,649 - INFO: Checking for snapshots stored in old formats 2012-01-15 13:04:07,659 - INFO: Snapshot '2012-01-15_13.04.07.658893.legion.ful' is being made. 2012-01-15 13:04:07,659 - INFO: Setting packages File. 2012-01-15 13:04:07,699 - INFO: Setting Excludes File. 2012-01-15 13:04:07,700 - INFO: Setting compression format to `none` 2012-01-15 13:04:07,700 - INFO: Option 'Follow symbolic links' is disabled. 2012-01-15 13:04:07,700 - INFO: Inspect file system and collect file infos 2012-01-15 13:04:11,336 - INFO: Summary of backup 2012-01-15 13:04:11,336 - INFO: Number of directories: 14080. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,336 - INFO: Total number of files: 49095. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,337 - INFO: Number of symlinks: 0. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,337 - INFO: Number of files included in snapshot: 49095. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,337 - INFO: Number of new files (also included): 0. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,337 - INFO: Number of files skipped in incremental snapshot: 0. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,338 - INFO: Number of items forced to be excluded: 0. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,338 - INFO: Number of items to be excluded by config: 227. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,338 - INFO: Maximum free size required is '215826 MiB 530 KiB 624'. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,338 - INFO: Available disk size is '891005 MiB 884 KiB'. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,339 - INFO: Snapshot is being committed 2012-01-15 13:04:11,350 - INFO: Launching TAR to make a full backup. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,362 - INFO: TAR returned a message: Total bytes written: 10240 (10KiB, 65MiB/s) 2012-01-15 13:04:11,363 - INFO: TAR has been finished successfully. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,367 - INFO: Simple purge - remove freestanding snapshots older than 30 days. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,369 - INFO: Backup process finished. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,378 - INFO: Terminating GIO File Access Manager. 2012-01-15 13:04:11,379 - INFO: Processing of profile successfully finished (no errors) -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Simple Backup Maintainers, which is an answer contact for sbackup. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team Post to : nssbackup-team@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
