Public bug reported: sbackup 0.11.4 (Installed from <linuxappfinder.com>) Running on Mint 15 Cinnamon 32bit
When attempting to set up default perimeters on first run, I got to the point where I am prompted for a destination path to send backups to. I chose the 2nd option, to create my own destination. After choosing an external drive and path I got an error message with a notice to report the bug. The error reads: "Please report this error on https://bugs.launchpad.net/sbackup. coercing to Unicode: need string or buffer, NoneType found" Also, when I run sbackup again, there is no "default" profile (as per the one I created on the initial run) that has been saved, even though I saved it. No log file was created by sbackup (or at least I can't find it) and I cannot find the 3.2GB backup file that was "created" . ** Affects: sbackup Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Simple Backup Maintainers, which is subscribed to sbackup. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189071 Title: sbackup errors and will not accept external drive for bkup destination To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/sbackup/+bug/1189071/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
