I honestly don't understand this thinking.

If we were to sack MM at the end of this season, with Wolves being promoted,
then we would be derided by the majority of the football world.

Who would want to manage us knowing that if they succeed and are successful
then their reward will be the sack?

MM's target this season is to get us promoted. If he achieves this then he
deserves to keep his job, simple.

Another thing, it is very easy to call for someone's head but who would you
replace them with? Who realistically can Wolves approach and expect to sign
as their next Manager? Who's better than MM and available at the moment?

As discussed last year, the only one I think we could persuade would be
Coppell and if Reading are promoted my guess would be that he stays with
them.

I agree with Rog, we should definately sack him no matter what happens this
season. He's hardly good enough for this league and definately isn't good
enough for the premier.

Sack him straight after the last game I say...any takers????

We are top of the table and have been for five months. You should be
supporting Madrid if you want to sack him from that position.

I think we'll go up, but it doesn't make me feel that Wolves will be back
where they belong for the long term, which is how I felt late last year.
The anticipatory delight has gone.

I'm really optimistic, the clueless ***** of a manager is much closer to
getting the bullet.

Come on everyone! Where has the optimism and passion gone? Despite being
sh!te it seems every other team is trying to out-sh!te us so we're no worse
off than we were a few weeks back. The only way is up!

I realised today that I don't give a toss about going up anymore. I was
excited when we looked a class above the other teams and were winning seven
in a row. I genuinely thought we could make an impression on the
Premiership.

Even if go up now, we'd get smashed next season.

I remember Wolves fans saying this last season, and the one before, ...and
all through the 90s, and the 80s.

some people have been using the excuse "we can't keep playing this badly
forever" for what now seems like an eternity. No matter whether we're
playing against top half teams or relegation fodder, the result at the
moment always seems to be the same. I think it is a consequence of a very
young team that their confidence is shot to pieces and there is no one there
with any experience to settle the ship and get us through this rough patch.

Good job Birmingham lost as well.

One thing to consider is: Can we play any worse than we are at the moment?
Meaning if we can't play any worse surely we must start getting better.

This gives some comfort but my problem is that we have been playing so badly
for at least 2 months now. How long will this bad run continue?

Typical Wolves!! Is probably the right answer. Whenever has anything been
easy or expected following our lot?

We are all doomed to this rollercoaster ride of emotion and frustration!!

Can someone please explain what is going on; losing at home to Plymouth. Are
there any positives other than reading losing?
