Smart signing. No transfer fee, has most recently been earning Championship
wages, but brings plenty of experience (including time in the Premiership) and
fresh competition to our goalkeeping department, which is currently pretty
young and raw by goalkeeping standards. Much better than the Sunderland model
of spending 8 million on a keeper with Scottish Premier League experience, who
you later lose faith in and have sitting on the bench. We still have plenty of
money to strengthen through the rest of the team.

That will come, surely? Is he definitely reserve? I thought he'd be number
one.

I'd rather have the premiership experience out there on the park either in
midfield or defence rather than having that experience tied up in a reserve
keeper sitting on the bench. But, hey, we've got to start somewhere.

Hahnemann signs. Surman on the way? Molineux mix down from over-excitement

Shows some intent getting another keeper with experience.

West Ham at home followed by Wigan away.

We'll be top of the table after two.
