Gerrard lost soggy biscuit remember. We're the away team.

History is not in our favour Marcus, our history against Germany in the World
Cup is 1 win against their 3 wins. Additionally, we have not beaten a top team
in the knockout stages of the World Cup since 1966. We are up against it big
time.

I might also add that Gareth Barry and Lampard were very ordinary again last
match and the prospect of relying on SWP, Joe Cole and Lennon turning the game
for us from the bench are hysterical in my opinion.

Hope I'm proved wrong but can't see it. Rooney needs to have a blinder and we
need a lucky penalty to give us a chance!

It's a pretty tough hypothetical run we've got after finishing second in the
group:

Germany, Argentina, the possibly Spain/Holland and Brazil.

I can still hardly believe we've got Germany. This is our most significant
game since Argentina in 2002. I hope all of our boys turn up.
