Talk about a 'no win' situation. He's not wrong is he? You can't give the
fans credit for the team's improved performance (what were they doing in the
first half? - did they force the requisite changes?). that's bordering on
imbecilic.

 

BUT when asked the question in an interview. what else would MM say? He
ALWAYS answers the question. lousy politician that he is.

I know Mick is a "tell it like it is" kind of guy, but surely he's doing as
much damage to supporter & club relations with these kind of statements.  I
think Mick might not have noticed how many of the fans in the ground were
voicing their opinions on the weekend as it certainly wasn't a small
minority group, it was a very large and vocal percentage of the crowd.

 

Calling the fans numpties, mindless idiots etc etc is just going to alienate
the fans even more and give them more reason to hate McCarthy.  I can only
assume that the club don't have the right to veto his comments to the press.
