UNCLASSIFIED I agree, Ward has improved, and is a very valuable team member... not sure that the others have actually improved much .. Jarvis was just as inconsistant when I saw him two years ago, I believe his form has declined lately. Fletcher looked good from the start when he was given an opportunity Hennessey -yes I'd agree there Henry - Holding midfielder? seriously???? Stearman - depends which games you have watched, he has been hopeless at times. Edwards - Not really sure until I see him have an extended run O'hara does look skillful but those stary passes ...frustrating Hunt - similar to O'hara ...workhorse, valuable player Johnson - Not impressed Doyle - ineffective goal scorer, is that what he is?? I really don't know. Could be brilliant with an effective front two, if he stayed upright a little longer.

[sec=unclassified] [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED] Ward (excellent player all round). Jarvis (league 1 to England squad). Fletcher (best striker at our club) Henessey (from reserve to excellent 1st choice keeper) Henry (very good holding midfielder) Stearman (much more confident and able at right back) Edwards (deserves a place in a PL team having not been good enough for a championship team in the early days) Ones who are about the same (perhaps at the limit of their ability) Hunt Johnson Doyle O'Hara In my view all of our championship team have stepped up and improved. It's the new signings by and large that aren't improving any more On 22 November 2011 08:03, Morris, Lee SGT <lee.mor...@defence.gov.au> wrote: UNCLASSIFIED Just as a matter of interest, who do we think has actually improved under Mick and his crew's coaching? Berra? I admit we are playing the ball around much better these days, but the finished product is non existant, we are woefully short of creative ideas and GOALS...isn't this exactly what we all thought Milijas was most capable of improving?. Better get used to it, because all the signs are that there will be no changes in the foreseable future. From what I've seen he's a very talented, creative midfielder. Better vision than anyone else in our squad and the player most likely to 'make things happen' from a central midfield position. I think the problem is that Mick has tried to turn him into something that he's not (ie a grafter) and so he is no able to play his 'natural' game. For our first season in the Prem I was prepared to accept that we were right up against it with the squad we had and the sort of players we would be able to attract in order to strengthen the squad, and would therefore need to 'graft' to make ourselves hard to beat and nick a few results. Stoke did exactly that in their first season but have gradually built year on year from there, transforming their squad and the type of football they play. I don't see us doing the same - Mick still wants a team of grafters and seems prepared to put a willingness to 'die for the cause' ahead of ability. I think we need a mix of graft and guile, but then I'm not the manager and so my thoughts count for nothing when it comes to the team that gets picked each week. ________________________________ From: nswolves@googlegroups.com [mailto:nswolves@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Steven Millward Sent: Monday, 21 November 2011 1:29 PM To: nswolves@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: [NSWolves] Which planet is he from? He's another one of these players like Freddy and that homesick Dutchman. The fans think he's better than he really is. It's been a theme on Mol Mix for many months that he's fallen out with Mick etc but I just don't think he's that good. Even if he's had enough, he would surely still do as well as possible to put himself in the shop window? This is life in the Premier League I'm afraid. I think I enjoyed us being in the Championship more where we could beat crap teams each week On 21 November 2011 12:22, Rog & Reet <rognr...@exemail.com.au> wrote: Looked like Milijas has had enough and couldn't be bothered anymore. Mick did seem remarkably positive about the performance and convinced we should have got something from the game. I would disagree with him on both counts. We didn't create anything, although (as always) looked more threatening when Fletcher came on. I was surprised at how ineffective Milijas was - its not even like the ball was never going through the middle. Rita just feels sorry for me I think Rog. She's watched Everton through some pretty dire periods so can relate to my current pain. ________________________________ From: nswolves@googlegroups.com [mailto:nswolves@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Rog & Reet Sent: Sunday, 20 November 2011 10:08 AM To: nswolves@googlegroups.com Subject: [NSWolves] Which planet is he from?
