You cruel bugger, don't give Marcus false hope for the new year.

I watched the second half last night. Some signs of promise. Sir Alex
mentioned Jarvis after the match. Replacement for giggs?

Knowing Sir Whingealot likes the nags, Super Mick phoned him up this week

talk about stating the bleedin' obvious. Next he'll be telling Sir Alex
that there's another young bloke going around called Messi who he thinks is
quite good.

What do you honestly think Sir Alex's reaction would have been to Mick
telling him he thought Jones was an alright player? I reckon it would have
been something along the lines of "well geez Mick, you really know your
stuff don't you. It just so happens we've had scouts watching him since he
was an embryo, that's what professional clubs do you know Mick, but we're
glad that you finally noticed him after 19 years."

Mick MCarthy gets quoted by the BBC, no less, about Man Utd players. It's
the sort of thing tops managers do.
