I have to say that was as bad as I've seen (Marcus - I watched up until 3-0 so
hopefully I'm allowed to comment?!). Right from the kick off when the ball went
back to Ward and he was forced into conceding possession we were second to
everything and just couldn't keep the ball. To be fair to Fulham they played
with a really high tempo and often forced mistakes from people, but even when
that wasn't the case we managed to give the ball away under no pressure. O'Hara
was particularly guilty of that - when all that was needed was a 10 yard pass
to retain possession and set the tone for others to do the same he'd try and
launch a 30 yard wonder pass and we'd be on the back foot again. Kightly was a
passenger and didn't look interested in taking anyone on - I was very surprised
to see him come out for the second half. Even with 5 in midfield we got overrun
and seemed to sit back when we lost possession with the midfield almost back in
defence inviting them onto us, rather than pressing them as they did to us
whenever we had the ball. I'm at a loss to see what Connor sees in the
Berra/Stearman partnership - hopefully Bassong is fit enough to start next week
- and I'm never going to be convinced Ward is a decent left back - his
positional sense is awful and we continue to get exposed down that side with
players 'finding' acres of space to play in.

Connor said about his team selection for the Newcastle game 'When you lose a
game 5-1 you are not going to turn around and send out the same team and same
subs' - let's see what he does after this result.

12 goals conceded in the last 3 games!! Makes it exceptionally hard to win with
a defence like that.

Need to bounce back big time against Blackburn.

We didn't lose 6-0.

There was one major positive from this mornings game:

The rest was pretty ordinary:
Shots on target 12 - 1 to Fulham
60% possession to Fulham

I can't really think of any other positives. Anyone?
