I've had fantasies about shutting West Brom down before, but came to this idea as more enjoyable
- Pink shirts, pink shorts, pink socks - Sponsored by Tampax or Durex - Fill the whole squad with only the slowest defenders available. Blokes in their mid thirties who were always slow to begin with - Instruct the manager to play long-ball, counter attacking football. - Have the midfield and forward players, who are really just slow defenders, lumber after the ball as it's passed up front but never get to it. - Let West Brom settle as a League One or Two team - Occasionally buy young, fast exciting players but either never play them, or sell them at the next window. - Allow this to continue indefinitely. Fans won't turn away, but it will be such a chore to keep supporting the team.
