Hi, Jeffrey
I was wondering how you like about VPN through T1/SDSL vs Frame relay to the
each site. One thing I worry about is package dropping. It seems no qurantee
when the package goes to Internet.
Any comment?

Thanks

Subject: VPN Issues

I just set up my first VPN connection between 2 of our schools and I am
having some connection problems. Each school has a WIN2K server with SP2
and also running ISA server. Each server also provides Internet access for
its building. The high school has a SDSL connection to the ISP and the
elementary school has a wireless link to the ISP. Both connections have
been up for a year now and have proven to be bulletproof.

I am finding that the VPN connection is being dropped even though in RRS the
connection is shown as being connected. remote users cannot access there
Exchange mailbox and remote mapped drives cannot be accessed. I have to go
into RRS Routing Interfaces and disconnect the connection. Once it then
shows as disconnected I then connect and it connects right away. The
connections are set as persistent connections.

What am I missing? Thanks.
