Hi all, I'm trying to install Windows 2000 sp2 on our desktops by using a group policy. I packaged the update.msi file and applied the policy as "assigned" software on a test OU. I moved my machine to the test OU and rebooted. The installation seemed to start, and then promptly finish without upgrading my machine to sp2. This is my first experience using a group policy to install apps, and it hasn't been a good one so far. The event log shows these errors: Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Management Event Category: None Event ID: 102 Date: 8/14/2001 Time: 1:52:26 PM User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Computer: BHM-IS-1845-L1 Description: The install of application Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (1033) from policy sp2 failed.
