Is it required to change the MTU setting of a remote computer to 1400 if your are using the win2k VPN client witht he PPTP protocol. I no I had to do this with the cisco client software, but it also used IPSEC. The reason I am asking is because I am having some problems with win98 machines accessing internal resources through our Cisco VPN concentrator 3000. With win2k it works just fine, but win98 clients are getting the password box that has no space for an account name everytime they try to access a server share. Any help is appreciated. Anthony L.
