I really doubt that it would have much effect if you are only getting like 1.4 fps....
But you could set the AGP standard to be 4x
I usually put my AGP aperature size to be 256MB...but I have 768MB of RAM.
Sideband addressing and fast writes are supposed to increase performance....but...in
your case...
I'd disable sideband addressing...I don't *think* the geforce 2 MX supports
it...(can't remember...because I have a GTS)
Also...you may want to disable AGP fast writes...I've had that cause problems before..
As I said...these are little things to give that extra couple FPS when you are
benchmarking or something...I doubt they will help you with this problem too much...
Can you set/change your color depth and screen resolution?
Can you get to the advanced geforce 2 properties (directX/openGL/twin view stuff)?

still junk.
