>From the NetMeeting Readme (netmeet.htm)
"Sharing of Microsoft(R) DirectX(R), OpenGL, MS-DOS(R), graphics-intensive
games, and .avi files is not supported and might not function properly. "

If you enable Remote Desktop, you disable DirectX - period.

Subject: software v.s hardware emulation - More Info

I need some help here.
Running a Win2k Pro SP2 system with remote desktop sharing enabled
(netmeeting), with a 32 meg nvidia mx geforce video card, but when I run
direct x diag under display and directx features, direct x draw
acceleration, direct 3d acceleration and agp texture acceleration are all
greyed out and not accessible. any thoughts? I figure that my pc for some
reason is only allowing me software emulation and not allowing me to take
advantage of the video card in here.

**New Info
Once I turn off remote desktop sharing, I then get all of my options back
for direct x. Everything works fine once I just turn netmeeting remote
desktop sharing off. any thoughts on how to fix this?

Avi
