Hey Folks, Windows 2000, SP2, Critical fixes, IIS5.0. I have 5 IP addresses for the Web Server which has 5 domains. (Each web address has its own IP address) I have installed Certificate Server (prior to SP2 and critical fixes) and setup Certificates for each web address following the guidelines of Q290625 and Q299525. The first 2 web sites work great. The client sees that it is getting a certificate from a non-trusted site (at least not trusted yet) and it shows the correct common name, which matches the web site. The last 3 web sites on the server however shows on the client the following security alert: The name on the security certificate does not match the name of the site. I have examine IIS and all settings and I can't find a problem. >From the IIS server I can examine the actuall certificate associated with each web address and they all show the correct "Issue To" / Common Name. The certificate the user is getting is the one tied to the very first (default) web site I have created. What is weird is the second web address created doesn't have the problem, yet I followed the same steps to create them all, except the Common Name and Organization names are different. Any ideas. Thanks in advance. ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
