Subject: Audit policy question - effective setting No Auditing

I have a Win 2k Pro desktop machine on which I need to enable auditing
of logon events. However after enabling auditing in the local computer
policy MMC it continues to read that the effective setting is NO
AUDITING. This machine is not part of an AD domain so I am curious as to
how any domain policy is overriding my local policy. The only answers I
have found in my research all pertain to computers in AD domains. Any
suggestions as to what might be overriding my local settings would be
very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim McKim
