I have a 2000 member server on an NT 4.0 domain. I keep getting w32time
error messages in the event log. I know why I am getting them, but I was
wondering if this time service can use an NT 4.0 computer or some other
computer to authenticate time? From what I understand this service gets its
time from the authorities 2000 domain controller (but I don't have one). Is
it safe to just turn it off? I have a script that updates the time from
another server (when I log on). Thanks all.
