Transfer files? XCACLS is a single executable that you run to apply
permissions to files and directories. It's great for what it sounds like
you want to do, simple permission adjusting.

I was trying to keep this as simple as possible using just one script and
not having to transfer files while running the script.

You could easily accomplish this task using 'xcacls.exe' from the NT
resource kit. Do you have to use VBscript?
Thanks,
-Tom

Subject: NTFS with VBscript

Does anyone know how to set NTFS rights with VBscript? I need a script that
will reset permissions on all child objects and enable propagation of
inheritable permissions within a folder. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Landon.
