Looks like remote network issues.
If you are doing Tracert by IP, you are bypassing the DNS server, so
that is pretty much ruled out.
What you may want to look at is the difference in traces between using
the domain name vs. the IP. Though I doubt you will see any.

I am currently having a problem with resolving the following address:
epnet.com.   My server is running Windows 2000 SP2.   

This domain shows up in my DNS cache as the following:  
        NS1 - 204.179.122.19
        NS2 - 204.179.122.12

I did a whois and this definetly shows up as their records.   I am just
trying to figure out if it's my DNS or a problem on their end.
