You can activate SMTP services on your SQL server and generate the emails
that way. I am doing this now. Be aware that some mail exchangers do reverse
look ups to make sure you are who you say you are ie. yahoo.com will check
to see if you are remax-cahi.com
Since your SQL server isn't your public Exchange server any reverse look ups
should fail. To solve this just have your SMTP/SQL use your Exchange server
and an internal bounce. By default this is possible but if your Exchange
admin is on the ball he would have disabled this to prevent people from
using your mail server for mass spamming. He can grant specific permission
for your SMTP/SQL server to bounce though.
