We were using the same DLT that you have listed and we were able to
achieve about 14-18 gig an hour.  Our configuration had the dlt on it's
own scsi also we used Backup Exec.

Is anyone running these backups devices?  Have you ran into any trouble
with them?
How about performance?
 
We have a Compaq DLT 35/70 tape drive running ArcServe 2000 and the
performance is awful, so I am looking into getting something faster.
Also, have a Compaq DLT 15/30 tape drive running as well.
 
We are only backing up about 90 Gig worth of information, I am looking
for speed and reliability.
