No. If it is a NT or W2K you can use regedit from your computer. If it is a W9x/Me make sure to disable participation in elections if it is doing file sharing. This may also be a sign of a large problem such as a connetivity issue on a box. Bad NIC driver or hub - i.e. gets intermittent connection or vanishes. You still maintain server lists in WINS servers in addition to DCs?
