Give this a shot.... from www.bootdisk.com Q. How can I create a bootable disk? A. It depends on what operating system you have, If you have Windows 95/98 or a version of Dos then you can simply type Format a: /s from the command line. This unfortunately wont work under NT4 or Windows ME
Q. What files should I have on the disk after I have run the Format command ? A. The files you will find on the floppy are IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS & COMMAND.COM these maybe hidden as they are system files, the disk will also contain a bootsector that I advice you to keep a copy of. Will it work on XP, not sure, not there yet.... Hope this helps...
