Thanks very much for reading a fool's email if you did. I've resolved the
problem. The reason I was getting the "There is no catalog" error message is
the catalog name is being passed on the querystring coming into the asp page
and the parameters for the code are set to build the query from the
querystring that is input. So no matter if the .Catalog parameter is set
with the right name if the querystring variable does not contain the correct
name it will fail.

You learn something new everyday.

Have a great day all.

Subject: Index Server and ASP

Good morning all,

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on an issue
I'm having.

I'm using Index Server (IIS 5) and ASP for my sitesearch feature on the
website. I have just moved our sites to new servers and I am setting this up
brand new. I've emulated the setup on our current servers, which works
perfectly, but to no avail I keep getting the error message "-2147215331:
There is no catalog". In the asp code I have added the .Catalog call and
given the name of the catalog but it still gives me an error message. I have
also tested the catalog in the Computer Management mmc and the search
feature works just fine.
I'm stumped. Can anyone offer some assistance?
Thanks very much and have a great day.
