Hi Alan,

I have used seagate and HP IDE tape drives with W2K server, although in
getting them to schedule properly had to create two backup jobs, the first
just a small single file, basically to mount the tape properly because win2k
used to have some problem with this, which I think has been sorted out with
service packs now.

Also found the best place if using an IDE hard-drive, was to place the tape
drive as a slave to the hard drive.  Sometimes had problems if it was
secondary master, or slaved to a cd-rom drive,
