You don't possibly have a stationary or signature file/electronic business card that under some conditions winds up as an attachment?
Maybe Hotmail and Yahoo, being web mail readers and understanding html and multipart emails, don't show something like these as an attachment? If you'd like, I have a personal, Unix based account, and using pine, I should be able to tell real easily if there is some type of hidden attachment.... Send me an email privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I'll email another personal Unix account email address you can send a message to for testing... -Tim -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Jason McCracken Sent: Friday, October 26, 2001 1:25 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Question about the List I wanted to see if anyone got the bounce messages even when sending no attachments? I'm using Groupwise and if I CC myself there is no attachment. I can send to a yahoo or hotmail account - no attachment. I am sending plain text - yet I still keep getting the bounce messages. I have changed the MIME encoding from ISO Default and Windows Default - and get the same bounce message. I'm sending this particular message via the website. I checked my address is listed right for the list. The reason I ask is I've seen a few people post multiple times recently saying they were getting 'bounce' messages even though their posts were showing up. I've had my email administrator 'look into the problem', but he hasn't come up with anything yet. If it's not something people are getting with differnet clients I'll have him check with the Groupwise admin list. Thanks Jason Specific bounced message is as follows: Sorry, your email containing an attachment can not be distributed through the Internet.Com. The only acceptable format for posting to the Internet.Com is ASCII Text, with NO attachments.
