Why - I don't know. How to fix - In User manager, change the user's Primary Group. login as The user, then logout. Now change it back.
I see nothing in Netlogon behavior, or the documentation of secure channels that would explain this problem or fix. (See Q266729) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Schatz, Daniel Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2001 4:00 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: SetprfDC problem Hy, i have a problem/question regarding logon procedure in a NT domain. Ive set the prefered DC on a PC to the local BDC. If i logon with various user accounts (from NT machine) i can see that logonserver is set to the local BDC and the PC is executing the logon script. But there is one useraccount that refuses to log on to the local BDC - instead using the PDC always. Can anyone give a hint why this is and how to fix this ?
