I'm running Win2K Pro on a machine with three 9 GB SCSI disks, and the
SYSTEM disk is showing signs of imminent failure. I have a good backup, and
I'm going to replace the three drives with one 36 GB drive. I will maintain
the same partition layout as before. What's the easiest way to transfer my
good tape backup to the new drive (after creating the partitions using
Partition Magic)? With NT 4, I had to install a new copy of NT4 into a
different directory than the one that was backed up, boot into that new
install and restore. Then I'd edit boot.ini to boot back into the old WINNT
subdirectory...

Is this the best technique to accomplish my task?

Thanks for any help.

BTW, I did some searching as MS's site for any help, but could only find
articles about disaster recovery for various components of Win2K server...
