what version of Ghost? If you are using the Standard edition, you need to
run Ghostwalk.exe and generate a new SID. Enterprise edition does this
automatically . . .

Subject: Norton Ghost/Domain logins

Does anybody else out there use Norton Ghost? I have a question I'm hoping
somebody can help with. Sometimes when we ghost a machine image, right
before doing some kind of testing with it,and then we re-image back to the
original ghost, the machine gives errors when trying to log into our Win2k
domain. After deleting the computer account, renaming the machine, and then
renaming it back to its original computer name & re-adding it, we're able to
get it working again.

I realize that ghost causes a conflict with the way NT/2k domains hold
machine accounts, but is there any simpler way around this?

Thanks.
