I hope this is not the case - we just reinstalled everthing a few months
ago after a disk crash.

With Nimda, since you dont know everything that was infected, best to
recover data, clean data and fdisk, format, reinstall

i've had this happen before to a single client that had the nimda virus.
she
was trying to save a doc in word to a network share with no quota and
like
30gb of free space...the file was already on the share and she was
trying to
update it and got the same msg. i cleaned nimda but the system did it
again
and i never figured out what was going on. Duane, did your document have
a
lot of graphics? i'm just guessing here.

John

A shot in the dark, but have you assigned any quota's to these
people...maybe they have reach their quota for space.

Both affected servers NT4 Sp5 and clients Win95 & 98. Clients can be
working away in Word, Excel, etc and then they get the "Disk full.."
message when trying to save. It's almost as if the file is locked as
new files can still be created. I initially suspected the RAID mirror
(2 x 18Gb) might be causing the problem, but have ran a verify and found
no problems.

More information about your clients and servers would be desirable...
