Terminal Services will not install under Windows 2000 Professional. You
will need to use a program like PCAnywhere, or VNC, or any of the other
remote desktop tools to accomplish what you are attempting.

Subject: RE: Remotely managing a Win2k Pro Box via Terminal Services

Sorry...let me reword what I am asking. I know that it is built in to Win2K
Server. I have a box with Win2K Pro on it. I want to be able to connect to
the Win2K Pro box and administer it from any other Win2K Pro box with the TS
Client installed on it. There is no option on a Win2K Pro box under
Add/Remove Programs for TS. Can I somehow install the TS Server portion
from the Win2K Server CD onto a Win2K Pro Box?

Thanks,
Steve Iadarola

Yeah you can install it from Add/Remove programs control panel. Terminal
Services is built into Windows 2000. You want to select Remote
Administration mode when prompted.

Thanks...
