Greetings all;

I hope someone can help.
Yesterday, suddenly, some of my users could not authenticate. When
they attempted to access resources, they received a message "Target
account name is incorrect". I have checked their accounts and they
appear OK. The shares still allow members of the group they belong to
to access them. It's just certain members of the groups that can't.
The Knowledge base articles that I have found indicate problems with
replication, using the "net" command, installing certain hot fixes,
and name collisions in AD, but none of these seem to apply in this
case as there is only one server to authenticate from (others are
stand alone). One thing some of the users have both Win2K
workstations and Macintoshes; they still have access from their Macs.

Any suggestions would be helpful!!!

TIA
Jim
