I built a customized install of XP Pro, we deploy it using RIS on WIN2K servers. One thing for sure is that if you do build a customized install, you'll need a .Net server to copy the image from the workstation to the server. Ours installs Win XP, Office XP, Adobe, NAV, about gig of Oracle software, and few more apps in under 26 minutes completely unattended. We've even had up to 20 machines going at once. I've set up the group memberships before hand, all sorts of reg tweaks and local GP settings... E-Mail me off-line if you like.

If so, do you have any tips or tricks that I should be aware of?
