It keeps a log of changes made. You could take this a step further and have it change only passwords that haven't been logged as changed. I also have an exclusion list for servers in there. The script is available at: http://thecolonel2.tripod.com/localadminpasschange.vbs.txt Be aware that you have to edit the script to fit your network, and run it as a domain administrator. It won't work on machines that aren't turned on, of course. I scheduled it to run once a day for two weeks to make sure all my workstations were changed. :::Ryan Malayter, MCSE :::Bank Administration Institute :::Chicago, Illinois, USA -----Original Message----- From: Crumbaker, Ron [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, December 13, 2001 1:47 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: local administrator passwords Is there a way to change local administrator passwords on all pcs at one time? We had a person change departments and I want to be able to change the local administrator password on all pc, without having to do it remotely one at a time? Any suggestions? Client PCs are, Winnt 4.0, Windows 2000 Pro, and Windows XP Pro. Also, I don't want to change it on any of the servers.
