How often do you need to copy it I have a batch file that copies a directory
to another every Monday morning if this is what you are talking about I will
past it in but it is just a basic copy command.

This isn't a one-time thing... It's forever and in perpetuity.

A previous reply said, "Use DFS." I'm familiar with it, but not through
practive. I'll have a look.

Do you already have files in \\machineB's directory that you would need to
make sure they where not over written. If not I would just use explorer to
copy and past. Make sure you have selected to show all files or you will not
get hidden or systems files

Subject: Linking directories on separate servers

Let's say I have a \\machineA\fun\good directory on one machine, and I have
a \\machineB\fun\good directory on a 2nd machine. I need to have any file
placed into machineA's directory moved to machineB's directory... What's the
best way to go about doing this?

I'm a rookie, so please bear with me =^) TIA
