I am not sure if this is the right list to be posting to, if
anyone knows of a better list perhaps they can help me
out...
Our domain is running on Windows2000. I have set up the
users password and changed the domain/workgroup name on the
WIN95 laptop. When the user tries to login he keeps
getting this error "the domain password you supplied is not
correct or access to your logon server has been denied"
I am not sure where to look or how to troubleshoot this
because i am rather a novice at this. Also if the user
omits signing in he can't get access to the internet on the
leased line which is strange because regardless of whether
you login or not you should be able to access the internet.
when i look in the system log of the primary domain i get
this error, i am not sure if it's related but it could be?
DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either
because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices
associated with it. " attempting to start the service
IISADMIN with arguments "" in order to run the server:
{A9E69610-B80D-11D0-B9B9-00A0C922E750}
does anyone have any advice?
