Yes the remote domain is a branch office and yes they are on a different subnet. So, am I correct that it is not possible given the current configuration? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gonzalez, Alex" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "NT 2000 Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 3:44 PM Subject: RE: trusted domain
Then you have a network issue. They must be on a different subnet. If that is the case then you all need to be on the same subnet and have your routers configured to allow you to see each other. I take it one domain is at a remote location. The domain is part of our organization and right now in order to share resources we either terminal service in or map a drive via VPN. I want to be able to add the computers on the second domain to be listed in Network Places. Is this possible? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gonzalez, Alex" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "NT 2000 Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 3:33 PM Subject: RE: trusted domain Active Directory Domains and Trusts. -----Original Message----- From: Marc Callahan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 4:29 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Re: trusted domain Win2K ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gonzalez, Alex" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "NT 2000 Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 3:22 PM Subject: RE: trusted domain That depends NT or 2000? -----Original Message----- From: Marc Callahan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 4:18 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: trusted domain How do I add a trusted domain?
