nope, happens with brand new machines just or machines that have been on the domain for a long time.

Jim Scott "Mike Staines" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "NT 2000 Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent by: cc: bounce-nt2000-189570@ls Subject: Weird issue .swynk.com 01/15/2002 04:15 PM Please respond to "NT 2000 Discussions" I have an NT 4.0 domain that (I will be the first to admit) is in poor shape. I have this really odd issue. If I put a specific user name from the domain, into a Local workstation group, after I click the apply (or OK I forget which) button the name disappears from the list of users in the local group. The odd thing is If I try and re-put the name in the local group I get an error message saying that name is already in the group. Now when I log into the local machine as this domain user the rights given me by the local group do not apply. (If I put this domain user in the local admin. group, after I log is as the domain user I DO NOT have admin rights over the local machine.) Any ideas?
