Ah, just to pick up on that, in application mode, it is as TS client access
license which as I understand it it allows the client to access as many
terminal servers as they can. This means the client may have many sessions
open to many servers as they can access.

TS admin mode is different.

If you use the Advanced client to connect via browser, it's still a real
session, just the presentation is different.  Yes, that'd mean more
licenses.  Remember that it's concurrent licenses though.
