Hi, We have some Win 2K Pro machines connecting to an AD server standing in a DMZ. When logging is enabled on the Firewall it shows that the Win 2K Pro machine pings the AD server about every 20 - 30 seconds. I suspect that this has to do with the functionality of Win 2K where client and server will automatically try to reconnect to the domain if the machine lost its connection. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I would like to know how I can set this us so that Pro machines don't continuously ping the AD.
