No offence Vanessa but with the problems you're describing and having to fix
with the amount of knowledge you have at hand you might be better off hiring
someone short term to resolve most of your problems

Subject: Domain Controller not Contactable

I get this message when logging on to a laptop

"a domain controller for your domain could not be contacted. You have been
logged on using cached account information"

Sometimes it allows me in (the network) and other times i get the above
message. I have been trying to intall a printer on this pc (as you all
have been bored to death with this problem i know sorri!)

I checked the IP config on the laptop

the IPconfig came up with this

the ethernet adaptor had the same IP no as the printer,

and the ppp adaptor NDISWan

had 0.0.0.0 as it's IP addie

if someone deems their pity on me and could perhaps steer me in the right
direction on how to reconfiure this stuff so it stops complaining i would
be most grateful..
